Costs:
Depending on what areas are booked.
Corporate rates from $20 to $80 for up to 3 hours. Daily rate $80 to $300.
Community rates from $12 to $50 for up to 3 hours. Daily rate $40 to $150.

The Central Coast Council in conjunction with Pier 01 allows the use of wharf spaces such as the Gnomon and Foyer for a range of functions for the community to use. These rooms are in high demand, and in order to make bookings as fair as possible, we may not be able to accommodate all requests or guarantee ongoing bookings for groups from year to year.

Gnomon room can accommodate up to 100 and Foyer space 72 people.  Furnished with tables, chairs, stage, small kitchen. Bar facilities are supplied by Pier 01. Overlooking the Leven River these areas provides the perfect setting for gatherings such as art/craft shows, music, dance events and much more.

Insurance

All hirers are required to have Public Liability Insurance. 

The Council does make available, to approved casual hirers, public liability cover under the Council’s Casual Hirers Liability Policy. Hirers that use this policy are required to meet the first $500.00 of any claim. The cost of this cover is $33.00 per hire or $110.00 for any hire involving six or more hire dates.

I acknowledge that, unless I provide proof of a current public liability policy, I will be charged, and pay an added sum of $33.00 to ensure coverage under the Central Coast Council’s Casual Hirers Liability Policy.

Conditions of Hire

The use of the Wharf Precinct Community Space is subject to the following conditions:

1. The Centre is to be cleaned after usage and left as found.  A minimum cleaning fee of $20.00 shall be levied should the room be left in an unacceptable condition.
2. A basic supply of cutlery & crockery are provided.  User groups are responsible for supplying their own consumables (tea, coffee and milk etc.)
3. Please note that smoke machines are not to be used in the building.
